- hilldudeExplorerI have a Roadmaster steering stabilizer, and a Helwig stabilizer bar on rear. Both easy to install and helped a lot.The stabilizer bar came from SD Truck springs.Steering stabilizer helped the steering and the stabilizer helped with wind.

- WclaysExplorerI had a Roadmaster steering stabilizer on a Class C. It made a huge difference.
I have a Blue OX on a Super C, Works really well. If you have cross wind you can cock the steering wheel and push a button and it makes the steering wheel to stay in that position.
The Blue Ox is better but 3 times the cost. - KenMastExplorerThe more research I do, I'm thinking that the Safe-T-Plus might be a better option. Anyone have any experience with the Safe-T-Plus?
- wearenhExploreryes, I installed a Safe-T-Plus two seasons ago and it made a big difference... I love it
At the time I had the Roadmaster on order, as it was a little less money, but they were out of them and I was going on a long trip, so i cancelled the order and bought the STP
Easy to install, returns the wheel to center better, and the spring is enclosed (either stabilizer is right out front, so this may end up being an important advantage for the STP)
but FIRST you should set the caster as high as possible (see Harvard's posts) - j-dExplorer IIA famous outfit in RV ride/handling is Henderson's in Oregon. I visited them and noticed that they stock, sell, install what they think is best. Roadmaster sway bars for example. Premium price over Hellwig, but that's what they like. They sell lots of Roadmaster stuff, but they use Safe-T-Plus and not Roadmaster's slightly less expensive Reflex. What I noticed is Reflex uses one coil spring, so Center is where that spring is neither compressed nor stretched. In S-T-P, there are two opposing coil springs, and they're shielded under a cover. We've had one report of an S-T-P failing with a broken spring, locking the steering. That was in very severe use. My choice would be the S-T-P if I was buying one.
