We were headed north on I95 just North or Daytona over the weekend. I'd say we were riding along minding our own business no lane changes, no slow downs, I mean nothing out of the ordinary. I had cruise set on 68 in the 70 MPH zone. Everyone was zipping by us at about MACH 1. Then out of no where this dude comes pulling up right beside my driver window in some little Hundai and proceeds to pace me and do the "I'm watching you" gesture with his fingers pointing in his eyes and back at me thing. Okay so I slow down. Guess what, the freak slows down. Then I speed up, yup you guessed it freak speeds up. So, okay, next he gets behind my toad and I swear he's riding the rear bumper of my toad jeep.Meanwhile I am checking my mirrors, cameras, side view and all to make sure something is not flying off the RV, some door is not closed or just anything out of the unusual. I don't see anything. The wife is like don't stop with that crazy dude around. Then the next thing freak does is pass us and get in front of us. I am already in defensive mode so I slow down. Yup, you guessed it he slows down too. Finally I get to an exit and proceed to get off the interstate. I thought the freak would go too, but he didn't.We stopped and check ed everything was okay. I mean, I usually know when someone will try to road rage around me and that rarely happens, but this dude, man this dude was scary. Has this ever happened to you Driving your class A? Never had this happen pulling a 5ver.

No, but I would have been on the phone and calling 911 not knowing what the heck he was up to. I would be looking for him to stick a gun out the window or who knows what.

that's just weird- has never happened to us- (haven't been to Florida yet) I agree on the 911 call - he might be doing this to others.

93, yes, it has happened to us once. We were near San Francisco, CA, on a 4 or 5 lane interstate where the speed limit for towing vehicles is 55 mph. I was in the far right lane minding my own business. Out of the blue, this guy in a small pickup jumps in front of us and starts to slow down. I'm thinking, what the h***, and he continues to slow down so I put on my left turning signal to change lanes. As I start to change lanes, he does too. So, I realize immediately that he wants to play games.I get back in my far right lane and stay behind him. I have no idea what he is up to or what he 'thought' I did that he needs to prove a point. Eventually, he takes an exit and off we go. I didn't blow the air horns or anything, I just stayed behind him. Apparently, he didn't like me going the speed limit (just guessing) as the regular speed limit is 70 mph.You don't want to aggravate these people. I should have put on my flashers as we slowed down to 40-45 so that the focus would be on the guy going slow in front of me.Some people are crazy.Safe travels,MM.

Kooks don't just aflict MH. I once had a similar experience driving a minivan when some nut case in a Corvette made it his business to impede my progress.

Some people are indeed crazy. We had a similar incidence years ago, before cell phone. It was evening coming home from Las Vegas. Very scary. Then we had our son, a young LEO with us, but we really did not want him to get involved as he was still probationary. I hope we never have such a circumstance again, but times have changed and I guess I am now prepared. Today it would be best to call 911 immediately in anticipation of a problem and cancel the call later if not required. JMHO

Welcome to Vegas, these Aholes around here in the south west do this a lot, I have encountered a few of these people, when ever you going less than 65 mph they seem to get very angry, I am thinking of a driving camera to catch these Aholes in action just in case they cause a accident, had a Ahole outside of Yuma slam on his brakes on the highway, wow that was close.

I agree with Denis video the offence a LEO can do nothing if a minor(Though dangerous) violation unless they see it

I once pulled up to a traffic signal in my 2010 Mercedes E350 and a few moments later someone pulls up next to me and motions me to roll down the window. He starts berating me for being a rich guy and we are all alike, etc. He let me know how much he hated "people like me." I rolled up the window when I figured out what he was saying. It was a little unnerving but like so many folks have said, you don't really know what goes on with people. Maybe his boss drove an E350.

Similar happenings occurred to us in Mississippi, Texas, and Arizona.

I drove across the U.S.A. last year from Orlando to Los Angelus mostly on Interstate 10. Through most states the speed limit is 80mph, and I did keep up most of the time, as I did not have a toad.

The three times it happened were all with male drivers in their 20's in tiny cars, (Suburu, Honda, Acura). They all appeared to be very agitated and in a hurry to get nowhere very fast!

Been cut off a few times. Had someone nearly try to merge between bus and toad on the last trip!

Should start a ledger. There have been so many. Most dangerous was semis south of Atlanta. We were in second lane from merge lane doing speed limit and a semi get on paces us or a bit and then witout signal come over on us. If we hadn't slammed, on the brakes he would have taken al, of the area ahead ,of the sink out and probably a bunch of cars. Just a few minutes later a second semi with a mexicn driver pulls almost the same stunt. They both got off aat the commercial entrance at the Airport. Ga Patrol called back but I said I would call the tuck dispatcher. He gave me a line of bs, that his trucks were governed and wouldn' go that fast and so on. Called Ga again and they got him at the airport. Later, on the road he was threatening to get his .223 and then he changed it to a 308. I told him to bring it on on the Cb. Real Smart. I was so upset, it took the rest of the evening and a good dinner to settle down.
