Have ya'll heard of this yet?

It's a new water pump that is supposed to give 60 psi "home like" water pressure. It's the first I've heard of it. I've got two good pumps now so I won't be getting one anytime soon but I might when the time comes.

Here's their ad.

This water pump was just installed in my motorhome and it sounds like there is a 747 in the basement ready to take off. This is beyond any reasonable noise standard for a water pump. Works great though, water blasts out of the faucet. I'd rather had a FloJet reinstalled but this is a warranty issue covered by an extended warranty plan and I don't get a say in what is installed. I tried to find a way to muffle the noise and was not successful. The water pump is in the garage under the commode, turn it on and the floor/your feet vibrate from the noise when you flush. I'm sure the adjoining camping site will hate it as much as I do.

I could find nothing else reviewing the product.
  • I was under the impression that the water pressure in RV's has to be throttled down. 60 PSI seems like the fittings might let go. No science here, but an uninformed observation.
