I suppose many of us have gone through the harrowing experience of a tire blow out. Have you?...tell us about it. Maybe this post will be of benefit to those new to the RV'ing world and maybe others....

GY 670RV on the thruway, NY and NJ border

Left tag
Inside side wall. Reason not known but looked like a road hazard of sorts.
No other damage
Sounded like a shotgun blast and wasn't even sure what had happened.
Coach didn't waver at all.
Coach Net called tire service.
They were an hour or two, being really busy
Had them replace both tags with Hankooks at a very reasonable price.
Moved the other to the spare compartment and had them discard an original that had been kept there.
Told by a cop that companies were under contract with that highway in that area, so no rip offs were tolerated.
