Get a good TPMS and install it. DO NOT hit the brakes if a tire fails, especially on the front. You may have to accelerate to keep control of the vehicle. Once you have control of the vehicle, gradually slow and pull off the road and stop. Most tire companies recommend replacing the tires after 7 years of age. An alternative is to have the tires inspected every year after that for damage or potential failure. The inspection MUST be done on DISMOUNTED tires. I replace mine after 6 years, just because...YMMV...Dennis
