Only been a 2.5 years with a resi in our RV but never have had a resi serviced in 48 years of owning them in houses. Time will tell what it's lifespan in an RV will be. At $400 I figure if it lasts 3 or 4 years I'll just push it out the door and buy the same model which is now only $300. Only 11 cu ft model of course. $100 or so per year would be considered my "fire" insurance and I get a free resi frig with it.
