Like you, I have seen many Sprinter based mohos towing toads, including Wranglers. The towing capacities vary from maker to maker but many can tow up to 5,000 pounds. Even though I no longer have a toad, the towing capacity was important to me since I occasionally tow a trailer with a SxS UTV.
Be sure to also take a close look at the CCC on the different models since they can vary drastically from maker to maker and different models. Some models have a dismal CCC of just a few hundred pounds.
