Referring to tire PSI
Using Michelin's chart:
225/75/16E
65 PSI Single (Front) equates to the GAWR of the 4600# front axle E450 used through 2007 (chassis year)
and
75PSI works out to GAWR of the 5000# axle used from 2008 up.
Note Michelin chart has:
Single
60 PSI for single = 2190 lbs
65 PSI for single = 2335 lbs – max 4600 lb. Axle for our year E450
Duel = axle lbs
70 PSI for Duels = 4440 lbs
75 PSI for Duels = 4660 lbs
80 PSI for Duels = 4940 lbs
Note the Front axle rating.
If your E450 is before 2008 .. the 65 PSI = your Front axle rating.
If your E450 is 2008 and later... then 75 PSI = your Front axle rating.
All tires the same size and "E" rating carry the same weight regardless of manufacturer. The Ratings are per Gov.
