What chassis is your 23 foot Class C on? (I'm guessing the Ford E350 chassis.)
We have a 24 foot Class C on the Ford E450 chassis and it's quite stiff in the rear - but we knew it would be this way when we bought it on the E450 and wanted the heavy duty chassis anyway, for several reasons. Since coil-over shocks stiffen spring support even more, I can't imagine me ever putting coil-over shocks on the rear.
It's about shock replacement time for us (45000+ miles on the originals), and I think I'm going to give these a try to both help soften the stiff rear end on highway cracks/small bumps, while at the same time maintain firm control on large bumps, highway curves, and air-pushing from the side:
