Help / Stranded / RV will not start /Road Service is no help

Sounds like what my daughters car did when the neutral control switch wasn't working properly. It did not read that the vehicle was in "park". Mechanic had us try "neutral" and it worked. We drove to garage and they replaced the neutral control switch. No more problems. Another thought - transmission automatic? could be a transmission cable not functioning so transmission isn't actually moving into the neutral/park position even though your inside indicator shows it is.
