I have (havent tried to sell it yet) an '03 PW Excel TD.
TD = The Pleasure-way double couch model. The upper 2-drawer nightstand is removable/portable in order to make the double couches into queen (?) size bed. I kept mine between the driver and passenger seats when stopped for any length of time.
I'm thinking the lower section, which allows access to the back storage area, could be removed relatively easily. However, it would be a permanent removal.
