So for all you machanical type out there, this is the latest update.
The parts list is very long. I doesn’t come as a unit. Fan hub is what they say. There are bearings, pulley. Fan shaft, bracket, retainer bearing, belt.
Plus a bunch of small cost misc. items. $950 and change for parts. Labour estimate 6 hours.

Tempest,
Well, all I can say is, it's too bad some of us aren't there to help you. I have in front of me, the almost same exact parts list, for the same parts, for the same exact engine. The only difference is, ours is a 330Hp and yours is the 350HP. Inch for inch, the same engine. My parts list totals out at $367.00
But, mine does not include a pulley. I'd have to see yours to be able to justify that yours was bad, and you needed a new one. There's lots of discussion on at least two forums about the infamous fan hub bearing on the C-7s. I have pictures of exactly what you're going to have installed but, I cannot post them on here due to technical difficulties.
I have the old unit I just removed from ours and, all the new parts for a new installation. The labor to remove and re-install that fan hub, bearing, retainer etc. is literally minutes. But, it's GETTING TO IT THAT'S A TON OF LABOR. Some coaches, and access to the engine, is a nightmare. Some, are not quite as bad.
At present, I have the radiator and CAC (Charge air cooler) (you have one too) out and, lots of other stuff 'cause, I have TWO major parts I'm replacing. One, the water pump went south INSIDE our motorhome garage, how about that one? And second, with 81,000 miles on our fan hub bearing, I figured we're living on borrowed time 'till something like what happened to you, happens to us. So, I just decided to go for it and replace it, at 81,000 miles.
As stated, some coaches and their engine access design, allow for a decent, qualified technician to replace that fan hub/bearing/and related parts, in not too long of time. But some, make it a bear. And, like ours, we have some seriously stubborn bolts etc. that would make replacing that fan hub bearing, with the radiator in, IMPOSSIBLE. So, the that's the reason why I pulled the radiator and CAC. I knew I'd be fighting stubborn nuts and bolts.
Keep us informed of your situation. Sorry you're having to deal with all this with your dad. Not fun.
