To VERIFY it is the transfer box, just disconnect the outside shore power. If the noise goes away, it is caused by the transfer box. BUT, this type noise can happen when you are connected to "Dirty" 50 or 30 amp service. If you are not at the required 115 volts or above and/or the Frequency(60htz) is not maintained. Before you replace the Transfer, try another CG or verify your Power is indeed over 115 and 60 Htz. Doug
