Help! Heater core
Need a NEW heater core for a 1998 Monaco Windsor Part number I have is E56407. I found one place at $276 surely there is another source for less than that---if not I'll just bite the bullet.

Same size part# 1000619405 - Not exact but maybe this will work:
Kysor #1717016 - Iryrob I bought that 23 year old unit new and its never sat outside other than when I was using it. I paid it off in 3 years so no more payments and to get one of this quality would probably cost 1/2 a million. That radiator is 16.5X6.25x2.75. Pretty small to cost that much but if I don't find a better deal I'll bite the bullet---don't look easy to do to me!
- Once you pull it out, you may find that it is a minor situation that can easily be fixed at any radiator shop. If it cannot be fixed, I am sure that the radiator shop can find a generic replacement.
- If you know the size then check price that way. If not pull it out and go from there. No a hard job to do. I just happen to replace one last month and no where that price and it is a big core. It just going to be in what you get. Some are high and others very high as as previously stated.
heater core - Hate to tell you this BUT, That's not a bad price. If you think that is high go price one for your car from your friendly dealer. By the way, your lucky you even found one for a 23 year old unit.
