Get a simple plug-in AC voltage meter to constantly monitor Generator AC voltage output or incoming shore power voltage. Running AC units below 100 volts or in the red zone, can damage the AC units. If you turn off an AC unit or it shuts off, let it "rest" for 10 minutes. If you don't give it a rest, the fan may run but the compressor won't run and no cool air.
We avoid RV'ing during beastly hot conditions anymore. Don't want to stay inside the RV cooped up and sweltering, watching line voltage dip below 100 volts from everybody running air conditioners.
