Help me find a floor plan....

Loosing the driver's door usually means loosing a large electric window that goes up and down, as opposed to a small sliding window that you may or may not be able to stick your head out to look back. While one may argue to use your mirrors, there are situations where you need to be able to see your rear wheel. Also the OP may have to swing his mirror out of the way.

I think you'd be happier with the RV purchase if you find one that you really, really like - not one that will only fit in your driveway. Find a storage facility for it. Your problems are solved.

The OP, if you can't find a class A like you want, maybe a Super 'C' as they are larger and may offer a king bed. The only thing that has me concerned is the very, very, narrow spot that you have.

Im a old fart and like my drivers door. I use it all the time. We don't wear shoes in the rv so it makes it nice to just go in through the drivers door and onto my floor mat. Mine is 20 years old with no leaks or wind noise. Just curious what makes a drivers door any more acceptable to wind noise and leaks as a mid entry or front entry DP?

My wife and I are shopping also. The king bed good luck. Drivers door option. Tiffin allegro, Itasca Sun Star and Jayco Precept these are a few that have the slides like you want, jacks and are gassers.

Check out the Allegro by Tiffin. It is a gas engine with floor plans from 33-36 feet. It has numerous floor plans and options. However it is also 101 inches wide. Tiffin has offered the drivers door in the past as an option. You can contact their sales department to find out. Good luck with your search.

mirrors? I forgot all about mirrors stuck out on the sides. My Class C mirrors fit under the house eves. That is going to mean new measurements...darn, mirrors who needs mirrors? I may just be stuck if I want to keep a MH next to the house with my Class C, or buy the guy next door out and remove all the fencing.

We've gone through this. Don't think you will find much in a gasser with a driver's door. I don't think you will find 4 double slides. You can find a king-size bed. We have a 34' and it has 3 slides (I love the opposing slideouts because I wanted the feeling of a lot of space plus we have two dogs who want to play; a queen bed and it is new.

The specs on the Georgetown say that it's a 101 inches wide. It will be mightly close with little room for error. That will give you just shy of 6 inches to work with (<3 inches on each side?).

On edit: Also, if your pad is not level, at 12'7" tall (the 37' Georgetown is an inch shorter than the other models), you could hit the house or fence if it leans.

AND remember (since we had our driveway redone to accommodate our MH) the awning comes out a tad as do the pipes. Plus the roof of your house might jut out. We are able to get it in and couldn't go any wider because like you we have a neighbor so we just fit.

Better add adjustable mirrors that can be swiveled out of the way. My mirrors stick out about 6" on both sides and are not moveable. Remember an A is 102" wide along its entire lenght not counting awnings, lights, mirrors, etc. Unlike a C which has a narrower front chassis end than the coach part.
