Help needed San Diego area

Hi all,

Living in San Diego (Point Loma). My wife's RV has come up for smog.

1985 Tioga

I've called close to 50 smog testing locations. They either don't do RVs or don't do 1985.

Any suggestions or known testers in my area.

regards,
Tony

    Thanks for all the help.

The smog referee was the way to go down at southwest college. In and out in 30 minutes and free. Nice guys too. Thanks everyone for your help.

  • Thank you for the informative, quick replies...

I will keep you posted on what happens from here.

    regards.
  • Contact the Smog Referee. Years ago when no one would test my pre-Tiger 1983 RV (too tall for the bays, too lightweight for the rollers they had outside), these guys really came through for me. I used the station at Southwestern College (Chula Vista); there is also a station at Miramar College.

"Assistance to Consumers when Smog Check Stations Refuse to Test Vehicles. Consumers may call the Referee Call Center to make an appointment if a station will not perform a Smog Check inspection on their vehicle. To reach the Referee Call Center, call (800) 622-7733.

Try a local Honda dealer. I have my diesel Dodge truck done there every other year.
