Class C vs Class A. Class A's have some advantages for mature couples mostly interested in touring and staying in RV parks. Class A windshield is very large, sun glare, more room in cockpit, somewhat better ride, not as good on back roads and primitive camping areas or days at city parks, harder to get service in small towns, fiberglass front end less safe in front end collision.
Class C's: more family friendly sleeping accommodations, better front end collision protection, easier to get service in small town dealerships.
Decision is also a matter of taste and floor plan/length/weight carrying ability. Look at the alternate Class B+ and Van conversions too. To me a 27 foot Class A and a 27 foot Class C with similar floor plans are not much different except to safety and cockpit and entrance differences.
