Best advice is to start narrowing down the list based on YOUR needs.
Drive down to Houston and visit PPL. There you can spend hours without being hassled by salesmen in literally hundreds of RV's. As you narrow down the list, spend a minimum of 30 minutes just sitting in it-- get the feel of it. More than just a walk through.
Look at other places that offer a wide selection for your to spend time in.
Then, start asking questions of us. Specific questions, as general "what is the best ....." most often elicit "what I chose is the best" answers.
Were there one ideal RV for everyone, there would only be ONE RV!
