You will need to think about what is important for your use and needs.
One of my priorities was and is a bed that stays a bed - I do not have to make it up every night as in a dinette conversion. I grew up camping in a tent and then trailers - when one person went to bed or got up, all had to do the same. I wanted a separated space for sleeping.
Storage for clothes for even for a week could be challenging in a B class. There are SO many great choices out there.
Take some time wandering through different RVs thinking about how would you live in it - are "beds" comfortable, can you move freely or is it a tight space, where would you store essentials and then some fun stuff, does the dinette seat your family comfortably, if you watch TV is there seating for all to see TV and the list goes on. Don't forget to look at kitchen functionality as well as bathroom use - is the shower big enough to be comfortable?
Storage - beware all those cupboards and drawers. Looks great until you realize how shallow some are where even a full size plate will not fit. Think about pots and pans and where they will go. Take each area and really think about use and space needs.
Then think about outside - How is storage space? How easily can you access the service bays, hose connections and drain valves? How much will the tanks hold for fresh grey and black water? Where will your hoses go? Do you need a generator? Will you be mostly in campgrounds or staying off the grid on the road?
There are so many RVs available because we all have different needs and wants. Most RVers get a first RV and then discover they still have things they did not get the first time around. Take you time and really think all through. RVing is a wonderful way to travel and I LOVE it! I wish you the best of happy adventures and memory making for your family.
