- MustangGTExplorerA/C shut-off sensor/switch for low freon is my vote.
- reddfox77ExplorerMustang can you see the picture? There is oil leaking from where the boot is on the right side where the wires come out of it? What kind of oil is that? and where do I get parts?
Please help Im a woman in distress... - Dutch_12078Explorer IIFirst of all, there's no need for any distress. The only thing affected is your dash AC. The oil is part of the Freon/compressor oil that circulates through the system when in operation. As Mustang said, it appears the low pressure switch is leaking. Any competent automotive AC shop should be able to fix it at a reasonable cost. Without the proper equipment, this is NOT a DIY fix.
- reddfox77ExplorerSo I am ok to drive it then?
