- rr2254545ExplorerWe like Bear Run north on I79 but almost all of the campground in the area close between 10/15 and 10/31 - so none will be available for the whole football season
- Dale_TravelingExplorer IISouth western PA isn't much on camp grounds. If you're willing to boon dock and live off the coach generator and tanks your options will open up. Lots of churches, fraternal organization and such that will allow you to do a weekend for free or a small donation.
Mom lives in the southern suburbs of Pittsburgh and not much available inside of 50 miles from the Golden Triangle. My coach fits down the drive with about an inch to spare between the house and my side view mirror. - Dance_ChickExplorerI don't know what "somewhat close" means exactly, but we stayed at Fox Den Acres in New Stanton PA when we were visiting friends. We liked it fine and would stay there again.
- TChallengerExplorerHas anyone stayed at a campground or resort and had a good experience somewhat close to Pittsburgh?
