Hi Mike,
I think we met in Sante Fe a few days ago.
You should have no problem finding a great coach in your price range within the 2003 to 2006 years. There are many great coaches out there to choose from in this age. The Monaco brands are well worth looking at and they are all still in business, Monaco, Holiday Rambler and Beaver. There is great factory support and two service centers, one in Oregon and one in Indiana.
One thing to consider and is not talked about much is superstucture of the coach, steel/welded vs. aluminum screwed construction. If looking at a Monaco product I would serouly consider the S Chassis. These are 10 air bag chassis and full steel/welded superstructure. This is very robust and sturdy. Many of the other brands and models are aluminum and screwed together structures. Something to think about when comparing. I feel you can get your best bang for your buck with a Monaco, Holiday Rambler or Beaver in a steel structure coach compared to other brands that have an all steel welded structure such as Country Coach, Foretravel, Newell and Prevost conversions. All great coaches but very expensive.
There are many great choices out there. Get the floor plan you can live with and buy good mechanical systems.
