Our Monaco is a "cheap one", a Knight, on the 8 air bag roadmaster chassis.
As there seems to be a lot of Monaco fans chiming in all ready, I'll try to be short. The roadmaster uses 2 airbags per wheel, mounted way ourboard, right in front of and behind each tire. This give the suspension more leverage and vastly reduces sway. Monaco's (and holiday rambler, beaver, and safari) just plain ride and handle good.
Spartan's claim to fame is mostly independent front suspension, along with disk brakes.
Freightliner, as you'd think, makes truck chassis. Inboard trailing arms with 1 bag/shock per, swaybars bigger than your arm trying to keep all that weight above under control. But rock solid, will never brake, and easy to find service for if they do.
