Just my observation in RV's over the years. They are always longer than the number they list. Example is our 36GH is actually 39'9" long. Our previous 5th wheel was a 29 DRL and it was 34' cap to licence plate.
From what I've read the shorter DP MH's can ride rough because of bucking with the weight of engine aft. I've never had one though, just my reading on the internet :W
