We have a 39' DP that has met our needs very nicely. We pull a F-150 toad and have never had any problem with length anywhere we have gone. I will say that if I were to buy another DP it would be longer for more storage, tag axle, aquahot and more interior room. Even with four slides it can get confining after 3 or 4 days of rain. With several years of experience I think longer is better.
