CCC is cargo carrying capacity and on 5+ year old coach's it should be posted on the door of a cabinet or in Monaco's, in the closet. Basically it's how much stuff you can put in the MH. For even half time you need 3,000 lbs but around 2004 with more slides, AquaHot, tile floors,.... the CCC on many 40' rigs went to less than 1000. With a tag axle you have 9000+ of CCC and Monaco made a bunch of 40' rigs with a tag axle, even a few 38' Dynasty Bishop with a tag... probably over kill.
While I've been told I'm full of it, I do not need a bath and half, but having two bathroom sinks is nice. One in the fart room and one next to the shower.
At the risk of "you should buy what I have" because I'm so smart... not really but like Becker and Executive we love our big Monaco 42-45' DPs... Mr Mark loved his too. They handle well, were well made, haul all you can put in them and about the only difference in a Executive and Dynasty... the Exe has 100 more HP... 500+.
Like I posted before, it took us three tries to get it right... $$$$$ education. 13 years ago I started with a 36' used DP because of posts on here that 36' was the longest for SP/state, NP/national, USFS/forest service, COE/corps of engineers Camp Grounds. These are what we normally stay in and it's doable with a 42', but it does take more planning... much easier with smart phones and better cell coverage.
My MH is worth $80-85K and I plan on using it for another 12+ years at which point I'll probably age out.
