You can get some good ideas here, but as many have stated, only you can decide what size is perfect for you. There are people full timing in a 26' Class C and others wishing they had something longer than a 45'.
Now here is a mundane point, but can be VERY important. When you're relaxing in the evening at home, where do you and your wife sit? My wife likes the sofa and I have my LazyBoy (have always had one).
It requires a certain size RV to get a recliner that is usable, comfortable and in the correct position for viewing the TV, if you're a TV guy. I've seen people buy coaches without planning where they will sit in the evenings. When we were young, we were always outside around a campfire with the kids, now that we're older, we enjoy being comfortable in the evenings.
I think I told you in your previous post, find something you like, chase the salesman away and sit in it for an hour, imagining how you'll live in it, sit in and even cook. Move around in it, lay down on the bed, is it easy to make, etc.
The 1/2 bath is a fairly new feature that many companies are now producing. Like any new feature, some hate them and some love them. Our new coach is a 40' with a tag and a 1/2 bath. I wanted the tag and now that we have the half bath, it's great, his and hers, since she goes to bed before I do. The 40' with a tag does take up a lot of storage space. My 40' doesn't have much more storage space than my 36' DP did.
