Another way to decide the length / amenities. Is this an RV I will be happy to get out of and back in the house? For any number of reasons previously mentioned. Or is this an RV I could live in and feel completely comfortable and really don't care if on the road for another month or two?
What are must have items? What becomes a compromise? Is quality woodwork etc important? How many manufacturer's meet your requirements? eg. comfortable seating, TV viewing position, driveability, storage, heating and cooling; enough to meet your requirements, kitchen counter area, number of sinks, size of holding tanks;ease of access, are you going to bend under the slide to access compartments? natural light, heated floors, tile/carpet all in the right places, oven/microwave 2 burner stove , single washer/dryer or stacked, outside vented? tag or no tag axle,
There are many many things to consider. When your list of haves and have nots is fairly complete the size or length of the motorhome may become self evident. If you narrow your search by quality manufacturer and durability first, the choice is not endless.
