I met hundreds of this forum members and have yet to find one that would not leave good memories.
Coming to comparing no AC houses. In my new house we sit inside without turning AC on. Thanks to good insulation the lower floor never reach 80F with 104F outside.
Beside that my wife would sit on the phone for 2hr talking to a friend who lives 15 minutes away. I would drive there with 6-pack or bottle of wine.
I guess sitting on the house porch is getting new dimensions as well.
