Prices for used RVs on the west coast are quite a bit higher than prices in places like Florida, where there are lot of used RVs for sale from older retirees.
In Florida, you can find late model Class C's with rear bed, front couch and dinette with slide for under $25,000.
In California, the same RV would cost you $5000 to $10,000 more.
To get an idea of what is available, check the Tampa, Ft Myers, and Sarasota Florida Craigslists. When you get to Craigslist, click the RV section, and then click the 'grid view' option, which will show large photos of all the available items.
Based on your want list, I'd recommend a 2004 or newer Class C with a rear bed, front dinette and couch. A 24' or longer Phoenix Cruiser, BT Cruiser, or Forest River Lexington.
