Is this a one-way rental? If so you will have to stay with one of the commercial RV rental companies or dealers. But if this is a round trip, you might want to look for private/ mom and pop rentals. I see lots of Craigslist ads for RV's for rent and might provide a nicer unit than the stripped down commercial grade rentals that large companies use. But more information about your trip would be helpful in getting more meaningful responses. The purpose of the trip, how many people, cost range, etc are all factors that will drive your decision on what type of rental you want.
