Holding tank treatment

Dump often, use dish washing liquid or laundry soap. No smells, and clean tanks.

Plenty of water works for me unless it's really hot outside.

I prefer dihydrogen monoxide. Clean, cheap and no chemical smell.

Empty, fill with water, empty, fill with water, empty, fill with water, repeat several times after each use. When storing for a couple weeks, do the above, and at the end, add 2 gallons of HOT water mixed with Calgon and Dawn so it doesn't sit with a dry tank. Oh, and I usually add a small bottle of Camco TST toilet treatment in the clean tank at the start of a trip to help digest the waste as it's produced!

i use happy camper
we avg (2) weeks between dumps
you can't go (2) weeks on water and NOT have smell

if i was sitting somewhere with With FHU, and pulling the valve every (3) days water might work

water alone an't gonna cut it in hot weather and any real lenght of time between emptying the tank

Fix the vapor barriers and there IS no smell regardless of how stinky waste tanks (black AND grey) become.

your neighbors are gonna smell it from your plumbing vents

and you will when flush and clean the toilet

at least we DO if we don't use some treatment

Aqua-Kem or Campa-Chem from Walmart works best for us. Geo Method did not work for us. We use very little water.
