Needless to say I replaced the DIY slide. My point -- if you build one, make sure it has a good locking mechanism.

First: How do you like your Champion generator? I just purchased that one on sale at Farm and Fleet, and haven't done more than test it.
Second: How do you fasten the slide too the basement floor? I think I see 2x4's. Are those bolted through the floor? My rv doesn't give me a clear view of the floor underneath, as there is some sort of cover. Maybe just bolt through it.
