Honda CR-V Toad

I now have a 2004 Jayco Granite Ridge 3100SS with the Ford V-10. We are towing a 2001 Honda Accord which according to Honda specs weighs about 3100 lbs. Looking to buy a Honda CRV which weighs about 3475 lbs. My question is will the extract 375 lbs make a noticeable difference in towing this car? Have not had any issues with the Accord but the extra weight of the CR-V has me concerned. Any info appreciated.
  • We tow a 2005 CRV on a dolly with a 2000
23' Class C. I don't even notice it back there.
  • An additional 375 pounds shouldn't be noticeable, about equal to a couple of extra bodies.
  • We have a Jayco Designer that is very similar to your Granite Ridge and we tow my Honda 2007 CRV with no problem. We used to tow my 1997 Infinity I30 on a tow dolly and my husband says after towing that the CRV being flat towed is a breeze.
  • I tow a 2014 CR-V and hardly notice it.

2015 CR-V's cannot be towed 4 wheels down.
  • My BIL tows a 2012 CRV with his 2003 Bigfoot MH. No problems. 2015 CRV's are not towable 4 down.
