Hes not talking/asking about COAX INPUT he,s asking about COAX OUTPUT
Actually, if you look again, you'll see he is asking about coax input too as he talks about his Sat dish. I do think he's probably just confused as I have a new Directv box and in fact it does still use coax for the input from the Sat Dish and then for output you have a choice of HDMI, RCA, or S-Video. I'm sure the OP has the same.
I gave him the benifit of the doubt because ALL sat receivers use coax in.Its the new HD receivers which are starting to eliminate coax out.I read his OP and Iam pretty sure he talking about the TV wire system.Like I said in my first post unless he has HD Sat system and HD TV system there,s no point in this receiver and what,s "simple" and "Cheap" is to get the standard 69$ Digital receiver
