I bet your husband would be proud to see you pushing on without him. If you bought the coach new, the documentation is probably on board somewhere. If you can't find it, contact Allegro. The depression has caused some changes to Allegro, but they still exist and may be helpful.
As said, get the coach on shore power as soon as practical. I fear, given the age of the coach, that the house battery bank may be over age and so an interior light could have drained the bank in a short period.
From the way you write, I would guess that you are very literate. This gives you an advantage over many of the people you might pay for work that the coach needs.
There is a wealth of resources on the web (not just here). I bet that there is an Allegro group. And if you can get into an Allegro group, someone there will be able to field any questions you have in fine style.
