Kim, if you decide that you need new batteries, it would be a great advantage for you to change to AGM batteries. These batteries are more expensive but you DO NOT need to add water to them, ever. They are so much cleaner as the other type (flooded cell) batteries that need water also 'gas-out' causing sulfating (white powdery stuff) that needs to be cleaned off periodically.
We have 8 house batteries and two chassis batteries. I had all eight house batteries changed to AGM batteries for about $3,500. It was worth every penny to me.
