Kim, some good advice here, some over both your head and mine...ha ha I think you have a gas engine and two 6v house batteries....and a 12v to start the engine (usually in the front in engine compartment of a gas model) Spend some time opening all of the outside doors and look and see what you have...a battery compartment will be there some where. Check the battery water by taking the lids off and seeing if the water is up to a "ring", if not fill carefully with DISTILLED WATER, not tap water. If they are older, replace them.
Look in the yellow pages and see if you can find an independent RV repair person....have them explain things to you...most RVs work similarly so you can learn your systems. Two hours @ $50 or so an hour will be worth a lot to you.
Study your unit...take photos and notes and ask questions here. Lots of help here. Camp at your nearest RV park. Sit outside and visit and ask questions of your neighbors...all want to help. Good luck.
