House batteries
DH doesn't know why he needs to add water to our house batteries about once a month. Anyone know about these batteries. Also he is planning on putting in more acid. Would this help?

NO, No ACID, distilled water to the rings. Next time buy Gel Cell batteries. Keeping them full helps them hold a full charge as the acid works with the Lead to store little electrical particles which are also what makes smoke in wires.
