house batteries
Do any of you guys have a preference of Trojan-105 or an Interstate battery when they are the same price?

- I just replaced my 4 Trojan 105 with the same batteries. I paid $485 out the door.
- We just use Kirkland Signature golf cart batteries from Costco. We wire in series parallel to make it 4 batts on 12 V
They seem to last for a long time, especially when I desulphate. - Personally, I would prefer the Trojan simply because mine have lasted over eleven years now.
- I used to work as a mechanic right next to a business called "Battery Warehouse". They had pallets of unmarked batteries on the floor that had no labels on them. All of the labels were on the wall, and they slapped whatever label on the battery that you requested. That was 40 years ago, but I was told then that there were only three manufacturers of batteries in the country.
I don't know for sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if that is still how most of the batteries are sold.
