Looking at Beaver Monterey 2005 and it is 34 ft. Many upgrades but want to know you fellows/ladies experience with Beaver and with maintenence etc. I was told this one had a rotted out exhaust syste...

It is unfair to categorically say a short pusher will have handing issues. Our 33' handles great. There are many other factors involved than length. Good design means a lot. Drive it and decide for yourself.
By the way, our 33' has a Hydro Hot.
