- DouglasCExplorerWe LOVE our Jayco Greyhawk! Have had it for 12 years now and are still very happy with it. For us it is the "right" size - - 27' - - large enough to have a walk around queen bed in the rear but short enough to be more maneuverable than the larger 29' & 31' models (I can turn a 180 in an intersection of 2 county roads). Have never had to stop and unhook the car with this motorhome to get out of a "tight" situation.
Quality has been great - - few things gone wrong and most have been repaired by Jayco under warranty, even after the warranty had expired! - rockhillmanorExplorer II

Doesn't surprise me.
You've referenced RV's between 25 and 30 feet, maybe a wider range than that. What do you need/want/can work with? We liked a LOT about our 24-footer. Sleeping was overhead or jackknife sofa. We went overhead and had a residential queen mattress up there. Few times we had a visitor s/he could use the jackknife. Then what I'll call a snack area. Two small upholstered chairs and a folding table. Decent kitchen area and bath, plus it had a pantry. We got out of it because of the risk of slips and falls on the 5-ft ladder it took to get to the overhead.
We don't "enjoy" our 31-footer any more than the 24, but we are a little more comfortable with the walkaround queen bed. We were looking at another Jayco, a 28G, and it was promising. The 31A we bought was less expensive, and has something we didn't think to be important: a pedestal-mounted "easy chair." Most don't and we use it all the time.Walkaround queen bed was important to us
when we got out of the 24. So I'd like the Redhawk 22C over the 22A with the corner bed.You must figure out if a coach will allow the activity flow you like.
X2
Do look into the coaches with the queen walk around bed. It IS a big difference. the corner beds in the 24 ft are a real pain to make and when the person on the far side needs to get up and out of the bed!
Also the open bathroom floor plan with the 3 sided glass shower with skylight is priceless if you are over 5ft tall!!!! :C - j-dExplorer II

- rockhillmanorExplorer IIJust be careful.
There are a lot of cars and RV scam ads on craigslist. I have contacted 'several' of them only to find out it they were scams.
First red flag is a REAL low price and rambling paragraphs of describing it like this one.
Do not ever send them money in any shape or form to hold or arrange for delivery.
Bottom line when buying a vehicle you really need to physically GO to where the vehicle is for sale before considering buying it.
Good Luck! I hope this info helps you avoid what I went thru with these scams and that you find the perfect RV to travel in. :C - j-dExplorer IIAgree with suggestions above! But also, Do You Like IT? The Floorplan has to work for you or all else becomes irrelevant.
JAYCO's a decent brand. I couldn't find enough detail to find if Roof is Fiberglass, but it's clear the Front Cap IS. Truth be known, I'd take and FG Cap over an FG Roof given the choice. We've had, and I read, far more troubles around the Cap than the Roof itself.
If this CL coach is financed, you may find it hard to beat the price down. Nobody likes to "take a check to the sale closing." - kerrlakeRooExplorerI dont think its a bad brand. It is Jayco's entry line. Countertops are a formica type material, The roof and cap I believe are fiberglass. They tout their J-Ride suspension upgrades which seemj to be the same things most on here talk about doing after the fact, so it already being in place doesnt hurt.
Go to Jayco's website and check on warranty transfer since they are a 2 year warranty brand, you may get some coverage if it makes you more comfortable with the deal.
Sorry just saw , that one is on a Chevy Chassis, not ord, but still should be transferrable.
Just checked, thats a redhawk 22c go to rvtrader and you can find new ones for the same price, search around some.
Since the VIN is listed you could do an "autocheck" or carfax to verify they didnt have an issue like flooding or a crash going home, but I suspect the chances of that are slim. - luberhillExplorerSo should I expect to pay less than what they are asking ?? And is it a well made unit
- kerrlakeRooExplorerThats about $8000 cheaper than they were selling new ones for down here. (Out the door price)
My local dealer still has new 2019 29' & 31' models for $68k
The Ford warranty transfers, dont know what month it was originally purchased. The Jayco warranty I am not sure about. - luberhillExplorerhttps://syracuse.craigslist.org/rvs/6619554603.html
