I considered removing the double recliner from my toyhauler but sold it before I got serious about it. Now I’m serious, in my new to me rig, about it and before I take a sawsall to a perfectly good RV...

Double ditto. Phoenix Cruiser is very helpful to their customers and even if you bought it used, they can offer insight into modifications.
I have considered this but would would feel a little guilty since I got a quote from them for a new one at the same time. I know that's goofy but alas.................
I am going to do that as the possibility exists I might be able to purchase a dinette from them. :-)
