How Do We Classify an RUV?
Saw my first one today. Thought it was a new Sprinter based brand, but the wheelbase was too long. Going inside the steering wheel emblem was Ford! They called it a "hybrid" "Recreational Utility V...

I really love the new 'RUV' style. RUV is certainly an easier way to classify them then always having to explain it's a Class A RV look but on a Class C motorhome chassis without the cab... :-| An RUV is just a modern compact and just not short Class A Motorhome. I'm just glad to see Thor Motorcoach innovating & improving the industry.

I drove the Axis during a show in Arizona a few months back and really liked it. I could appreciate the extra towing, open cab roominess, and extra storage of the Class A RV shell. I was just shocked at how well they are priced, far cheaper than a Mercedes. I’m happy to see the WHITE era ending, the base model comes standard with colored exterior (HD-MAX).
We are not ready for a new motorhome yet but I love looking...
