We're looking to buy either the Thor Axis/Vegas (24.1 or 25.1) or the Forest River FR3 DS25. I like the DS25 because it uses the larger chassis, has 19.5" wheels, and *much* larger tank capacities, but I like the Thor because it has the IFS, is lower etc.
Here in San Jose, I haven't been able to find either of them locally so I can't drive them. With this in mind, would the Thor have a more comfortable ride and be easier to drive due to IFS etc., or would the Forest River due to 19.5" tires? My wife wants to drive whatever we decide on and she has no large vehicle experience.
I've searched various dealer stock for either of them within an hour of here, but I haven't been able to find the DS25 or Axis/Vegas - does anyone know where I can find one near San Jose?
