Been living with a corner bed for 8 years now. You get used to it. My wife takes the outside, as she never needs to make a potty trip in the middl e of the night, and I always do, so I'm on the inside next to the bathroom wall.
I make it; not that hard. We use regular sheet sets, and the trick is to start at the head end, get one corner in, then physically pull up the other mattress end corner, while kneeling in the center, slipping the sheet over the entire head end, then back off the bed, reaching over to do the outside bottom corner, then the inside bottom corner last, right in front of you while standing. This is with a thick innerspring pillow top Serta too; foam would be even easier with the same technique. It helps that both of us like loose covers above us, so then it's just throwing a top sheet on, along with an appropriate number of blankets/quilts for the weather. We just throw the pillows up to the head end.
