- Cousin_Eddie93ExplorerI use the giant orange Legos if surface is not level. Otherwise the Hellwig sway stablizers make the rig nearly unshakable, even when cleaning the pipes with DW.
- leeperExplorerClass C RV does not move as much as a trailer because where the wheels are and the heavier weight. Not too noticable and you can get used to it. A trailer needs the stabilizers because the shake is alot more than a Class C. Going from a trailer to a Class C does take some getting used to.
- RobocopExplorerPutting it in Park always does the trick. Stabilizers are overrated on Class C units. And why add the extra weight of two if not four units? I bought this years ago for the sake of argument just in case more than a few folks were staying in the RV. http://www.dyersonline.com/valterra-stabilizer-stand.html Fortunately it is usually only me and once I am in bed, nothing is moving but me.

Custom leaf springs helped a lot in my van. - Baja_ManExplorerGood info....didn't consider the two axles far apart on ground vs 5er/TT which only has one/two close together. I'll know how stable she is when I take her out on maiden voyage in late June.
- F1bNormExplorerWe also came from TT's to our C and wondered the same thing about stabilizing the rig. We had gotten used to the "trailer chores". Chocking, unhitching, leveling then stabilizing. Now we drive to the camp spot, set the brake, crank out the slide and we're done. There is some movement when walking around the coach, but it hasn't been annoying.

My 31 ft does not move at all when parked.
YMMV.
Mine certainly does.
I don't notice it at all when I'm the only one on board but when there is another person moving around while I'm sitting still.....or in bed....there is an annoying slight sway.
Perhaps you need new leaf springs on the back and new shocks on the front! - tpiExplorerI don't use any stabilizers. I can't feel it when I'm walking around, but if I'm sitting I can feel it rock a bit when someone else is walking around. Not enough to be troublesome-basically I tune it out. But if it was a problem, I'd look into some kind of scissors jacks used on frame as a cheap solution.
- wendylyExplorerMine came with rear stabilizers, but I also have a rear slide on mine that holds half of my bed, so I really notice if the stabilizers aren't down.
- Jayco-noslideExplorerWe do nothing to stabalize our 30 ft Class C and have no problem.
