I am semi retired, my wife still works full time, though she does get an ample number of vacation days each year (local government job, she currently gets about 30 vacation days per year) just got back into owning an RV after a 15 year break at the end of 2016.
In the first year of ownership of our small 28 ft class A coach, I put right at 7,000 miles on it and spend 70 nights on board, about 1/3 were solo travel, 1/3 were weekend trips with my college age son, and 1/3 were with my wife. The longest trip was 4,200 miles and just under a month on board (Louisiana to Wyoming (Yellowstone and the solar Eclipse) and back. The shortest I think was 2 nights at a state park about 90 miles from home.
