How long before buying a toad

How long did you have a Class A motorhome before you bought a tow vehicle. I just bought a Class A but don't have a car that I can tow without a dolly. I'm not going to tow a vehicle on a dolly.

I couldn't tow my car 4 down either. I really thought I didn't need no stinkin toad.

Well 2 snowbird trips without a toad finally convinced me that I needed one. Bought the toad 2 days before closing on my house to go full time.

I wasn't really sure about a toad so I just looked around for an inexpensive small car that could be towed 4 down. so if I didn't like it I had not invested a lot of money into it. that Toad worked out so well I ended up just keeping it.

I think what a lot of people have stuck in their minds is they have to buy a new car to use as a toad.

If you go to the Escappees classified forum there are always a ton of used Toads for sale ALL equipped to go four down. All ready to just hook up and go. And usually the tow bar is either included or for an added price. The sellers are all RV'ers.
